Elliot and Quien sold some of their toys and also gave away some to the Goodwill-so, I told them they could get one toy. They each had coupons for Build A Bear workshop from their birthdays-so that's where we ended up:Quien gave a kiss to his Turtle's heart before it went in...
Elliot loved pushing on the peddle to stuff his puppy...he already has a matching small version-he calls them Jr and Sr. lol
And my Dad-Gpa David-got a BABW frog from my Mom for their Anniversary that day...here are the "boys" with their stuffed animals....Q and Elly both sleep every night with theirs!
Here's Quien for his Pioneer tryouts....he was very very excited about it-has been looking forward to baseball season since last summer.
It's kinda funny-I'm looking at the one picture and the boy on the left of the picture-in the grey with black tennis shoes, looks like he's jumping-he's on our team. He's one of our pitchers.

Quien's team-that we coach-are the Tualatin Volcano's (fitting really lol), Elliot's are the LittleWolves Pirates and Tyler names themselves after the High School team-the TimberWolves.

Jeff got to be the Umpire for Ty's first scrimmage game....Ty really loved having his stepDad there to help the team out-it was a really fun game and the boys won!

Monica had a school project where she had to write an essay on a special historical figure-she picked Elvis! So, on the day they did their speech they had to dress up as their person-Mo decided to do the "Hawaii" Elvis! lol She did GREAT!
I know you may not be able to see it, but Quien has a Mom, Dad and baby duckies behind him in the water. I was at the Chiropractor's office getting copies of Katie's x-rays for her pediatrician to have a 2nd opinion about Katie having scoliosis-and just outside of the office is a huge pond. I saw the baby ducks and had to get the boys to see. They loved it! (Katie is doing fine, she just can't do PE anymore and has to have treatments for the next 6 months, plus swimming with me three days a week. She has a mild case right now, but the "hump" on her shoulders may end up being permanent-we'll see, please pray for her!)
Easter was at my house this year-what fun!! We dyed eggs (you can see Mo didn't like the end result-dyed fingers too LOL) I made a big chocolate bunny cake-and for breakfast the boys and Monica helped me make cinnamon pecan sticky rolls-they were YUMMY!
It was a tie between Elliot and Tyler who got the most eggs....
He loves to water the plants at night and the morning, he had so much fun planting the seeds for our vegies and flowers! His favorite every year has been a sunflower-so we planted lots and lots of those over by the tree near the mailbox. They've started to sprout so now he goes and checks on them every day before we walk to school and talks to his little baby "Sunny". Too cute!!!
Jeremy and Jeff working on the new rig-Jeremy has a Blazer now. It needed front and rear brakes so he and Jeff did them. I ended up holding the flashlight until like 11pm for him to finish! lol....it was fun to get to talk to him-we miss our "boy".

Yeah, I think every kid (there were 8) got their eggs opened and the candy eaten before I could even think about saying " only one piece before dinner" LOL....I did a lot of stickers, money and other treats besides candy-so they weren't on too much of a sugar rush. They kept asking "Hey, why's my egg empty?" or "Why does this egg only have 3 pennies?" So, we sat down and I taught a small lesson on the REAL reason we celebrate Easter. They all went "ohh, I get it" about the empty tomb=empty egg.....3 pennies=3 days for Jesus to rise. Then Katie read a book about God's love on Easter.
We had a great dinner-ham, deviled eggs, rolls, greenbeancasserole, cheesy potatoes my Mom made-it was great! I had my friend from the Quatama ward over with her three kids-I miss all of them sooo much! My Mom and Dad came-my brother Dennis and his girlfriend Nikki even stopped by for a bit. I love my house!

Let's see, what else?Uh, my ex-Kmt's father-and his boyfriend are homeless right now. So, Kmt and all their pets-5 chinchillas, a cat and two very annoying yippie little dogs-are staying with us. I LOVE having Kmt with me full time now-it's GREAT! Please pray it becomes a permanent situation even after my ex gets his act together and gets into a place.
Jeff is working three jobs again-paper route, baseball umpire and a day job from 7am-4pm for a company that's processing claims for a lawsuit against GMC. We're really really busy now. It's wonderful though.
Jeremy will be home this weekend to pick up some of his things and get his tires for his rig. We're all really happy about that!
My friend Missy is coming to visit for a few days to take a class at PCC. She lives in Medford-we're hoping to visit her and the Johnson clan too for Memorial day weekend.
We'll see.
This summer we're signed up to have a chinese exchange student-the kids are really excited about that. It will be a great memory for the kids to have.
Quien is doing really great in 1st grade-he's getting better and better at reading and is a regular math whiz in his class. Elliot is loving having me to himself during the day while everyone else is in school-lol. I drop the girls off & he says "Just you and me, right Mamma?"
Man, I'm gonna miss that next fall!
Elliot starts kindergarten,Tyler in Middle school, Katie a freshman in High school, Amanda turns 18 and starts her Sr. year-all in September.
