Quien had his big day of 1st grade!!
Here he is eating his cereal-and keeping his new blue backpack nearby.
Here's his Yoda lunchpail, packed with his Bologna/cheese/mayo/tomoto(from our garden, that he picked himself) sandwich. Peaches with cinnimon and the "box within a box" milk money holder.
Backpack? Check. Lunchpail? Check. Jacket? Check All ready to go, thumbs up for Mamma!
Here's little Catie, aka the 3rd Musketeer(see summer blogs) with Quien. He insists on holding her hand to walk to school. It's right around the corner and she lives accross from our culdesac.

Complete with his name tag-We're having them teach him how to write Quien Hoagland. Mainly cause Quienton Christer Ehrnlund Johnson Hoagland would just be cruel.
K, getting this name tag on wasn't easy-but he HAD to do it himself,didn't want Mamma's help cause he's a big boy now. lol
Here he is with Daddy-he walked over and had lunch with him, making sure he gave them his milk money.
He loves the playground-I think mostly because, besides being fun, it's Swedish colors! LOL
And of course Elliot had to come with me to pick big brother up-he'd missed him SO much all day long. Here's Quien in his seat as we watched, waiting patienly for the first day to be over so we could give him hugs!!
