OK, so 111 degrees here yesterday-and the boys had soccer practice.
NOT FUN!!
yeah, the Micro Mini soccer team that Jeff and I coach for Quien and Elliot only had a 1/2 hour practice-with water breaks every 10 minutes. We had to sit the poor parents in the shade.
I got heatstroke from running around with the little buggers.
So, while Tyler was at his practice-which was right after Q and Elly's team-we went to my folks' place.
They have A/C!!
I ended up having to take a cold shower for 20 minutes and then sit and drink gallons of water to try to fix my heatstroke problem.
When we got home around 9pm it was still 88 degrees inside the house and over 90 outside.
Not nice
So today we are gonna leave around 10am to go camp out at my folks' place again-mainly cause I am watching my friend's baby, he's only 5 months old and has Cystic Fibrosis so he can't handle the heat.
He sure is a little love though-his name is Eric too. He had a twin named Elliott-but he's in Heaven now with my Anthony.
Jeff is still hoping to get hired on at his day job-we finally got things "settled" with his ex and the child support/court hearing crap. Man, what a nightmare she is.
We got to have an email from the missionaries in "charge" of Jeremy at basic training in Texas. They say he's doing great and having fun. Here's a picture of him:
Yeah, he's the shortest guy with glasses.
We're so proud of him!!!
We're sending him a letter today and hopefully he'll be able to write to us sometime by the end of the month-they have to earn that priveledge.
My Dad had another surgery Wenesday night-they had to take his gall bladder out this time due to stones that were causing him severe pain. The good news though is that he's healing now and the other surgery for his cancer and hernia he had a month ago seems to have done the trick. We're hoping he'll be home by Monday, and then he has 2 weeks before he can go back to work. All prayers for quick recovery are appreciated.
Jeff's folks seem to be having a great mission in New Zealand-but we miss them terribley!!
We also miss his sister Jenni and her family-they live in Colorado and we just love seeing their blog with new pictures of the kids. When they left the twins were still so itty bitty-and now they're talking and are just so cute.
My older three kids-Katie, Monica and Tyler are living up here in the Portland area now. They've been with Jeff and I most of the summer. Not sure what's gonna happen in three weeks when school starts, but if my ex doesn't get his act together and move into an appropriate apartment and have a job by then-well, I guess they'll be going to school here in Aloha and living with us for good.
Yeah, pray for us there-cause my ex will fight that tooth and nail.
Our attorney must be planning an early retirement at this point-he just loves hearing from us.
Guess it's time for poor Jeff to go get a 4th job-NOT!
Actually, I will be doing childcare again as soon as school starts.
Mainly cause it will be just Elliot and I during the school day whether Kmt stay here with us or not.
Yeah, even though Elly is a bit of a Mamma's boy I think he'll get bored of me after the first two days and want a buddy to play with.
I can't believe Quien will be in 1st grade and Monica is going to be a middle schooler!!!
My kids are growing too fast!!!
Well, I should go get everyone ready for camping out at Gma's house.
Not much else going on-we're anxious to hear when Jeremy's graduation is-I'll post the date when I know it.
If anyone wants his address to write to him here it is:

331 TRS/ FLT 585, Dorm A-4

Don't expect a letter back very soon-like I said, they have to earn the priveledge to do that.
Love to all!!
