^Eating out of Quien's hand on their daily "walk-about"
This picture was from the first day we had them-they were still small and fluffy yellow. Now they're up and running around, getting their dark green feathers and nearly double in size!
The kids are having a lot of fun with them and we're gonna start working on their outside enclosure as soon as the weather warms up. For now they're gonna move out of the box and into a big plastic kiddy pool-which will become their "pond" in the enclosure once it's built and they're 8 weeks old. Then they'll be old enough to fend for themselves and eat table scraps.
These two are called Fawn White Roen ducks, and we're waiting for our other two to hatch at the Feed store-they're called Swedish Blue. Bet you can guess why we chose those breeds, huh :O)
