Quien parked on Daddy's lap for 4th quarter

Well, I'm late in posting this, but thought it would be a fun story.
Jeff took on a second paper route again, and it's working out great for him to still do his day job and reffing, too. The really cool thing about the route is his new boss loves basketball too, and was really jazzed that Jeff was a reff. Well, I guess Jeff is his new buddy cause he's been giving us free tickets to the Blazers games at the Rose Garden!
We went just the two of us the first two games, but then he gave us 4 tickets to the last home game this week-so we took Quien and Elliot!
We four had SO much fun!
Not only did the Blazers win, but it was an exciting game and they won with 111 points-so we got our free Chalupas from Taco Bell! LOL
See, anytime the Blazers make 100 points in a game, the fans get a coupon for free chalupas. So, the last 4 minutes of the game Quien, Elliot and I were chanting "Cha-lu-pas, cha-luuuu-paaaasss!"
We had Jeff laughing-he thought we were silly.
The boys had their Rip City sign, little "clapper" noise makers and we brought our Blazers plastic cup for "cheap" drinks
Yeah, cheap. $3 for a refill x 2 & $5.50 for our chocolate waffle cone-YIKES!
Good thing the tickets were free and we walked 1/2 mile for our secret free parking spot. We also found a very quick, trafficless, hassle-free back way home-it was awsome!
Jeff gave Quien a shoulder ride to and from the stadium, and Elliot was doing another one of his little songs down the steps. They're such troopers, they didn't mind walking one bit.
Quien and Elliot learned how to chant "shoot the ball!!", "booooo" to the reffs and "Charge!!". We just loved watching them enjoy the game-and the big TV as they put it. We were one row down from the very top row, but it was still fun. The boys got to see the big balloon car and "tiny people" as Elliot put it. LOL
Eventually both boys ended up on our laps cause they were so tired, but it was nice to cuddle with them and see how attached they are to their Daddy!
