OK, so Jeff has been practicing with Quien in the backyard and he discovered that our son is a "switch hitter". Not sure what that is-but he says it's a really cool baseball thing.
So to me it just means Quien can hit the ball both left and right handed.
To Jeff it's like the coolest thing ever and he's soooo excited about it.
Yeah, he's 6 sweetie-and it's teeball.
LOL
I'm just so happy they're both having so much fun with it-except Quien refuses to play catcher cause he's affraid of the....um...cup and jock strap.
hehehe.......
They have make up games the next two weeks, so since they haven't actually missed any games they're just gonna be practicing. Then they'll have two more weeks of games through June 14th.
By then we'll have done Jeremy's graduation and Amanda and Amie will be here-Yippie!
It's been really hot here the last couple of days and so we're hoping for 70's or 80's instead of the 90's and 100 degree weather we had this weekend.
The boys were fine with it-pool time with the duckies (see blog below) and lots of slushies and ice cream cones.
Oh, and going to see Iron Man with my family and the kids-it was an AWSOME movie-in the words of our 4 year old, Elliot. LOL
