What a great weekend!!!

Friday we got PJ from the airport and saw the girls when they picked up Jeremy. We had a lazy day on Saturday-tried an Easter egg hunt at the fair grounds but that was a bust(too many kids, not enough eggs) Then I took some of the kids to the duck park and fed them.

Yuck.

Lots of bird poo everywhere. LOL.

Well, then I took a few others to the store to pick out Jeremy's cake. Then it was time to get ready for the Birthday dinner. It was great having all the family there-although Jeff said he did feel "surrounded" cause the seating arrangements at the restaraunt made it so that I was sitting on one side of him-and his ex was sitting on the other. LOL

But everyone was there for Jeremy's 18th and that's all that mattered. He loved all his gifts-lots of cash and some sentimental things too-like another leather jacket from my brother Dennis that he wore while he was in the Marines. Jeremy really seems to dig that present a lot. Jeff and I gave him the gift of being on our insurance policy so he can drive. LOL

So now he's our errand boy, and loves it. He's always asking if there's something we need at the store.

Sunday was wonderful too. I got up way early and hid the eggs, then made some scrambled ones with the leftover donuts for breakfast. The kids all loved their baskets and had fun with the egg hunt in the living room. Amanda and Amie decided it wasn't "fair" that the little kids got to go first, so I re-hid the eggs for them so they and Jeremy did another hunt. When they realized there weren't any eggs left with money in them they asked me to write them a check.

Um, yeah, I had a little talk with them about the true meaning of Easter after that one.

We all got ready for church and then headed to Salem after a quick visit with my folks. It was so wonderful to be at Jack and Judy's ward and be there for their send off. I loved the song they sang with Julie's family. Her boys sure are growing up to be handsome guys. :O) Their talks were wonderful-from the amount I could hear through trying to keep our Hoagie pew quiet

Yes, we took up a whole isle with the 9 kids. LOL It was great!!

Quein and Elliot loved seeing Gma and Gpa up there talking. Jack was so sweet-he made me and Jeff cry when he thanked me for making Jeff and Jeremy happy. I have the best in-laws ever!!!!

Jeff and I loved having all 9 kids for Easter dinner at his folks place with Julie and her family too-it was fun seeing Uncle Paul with Q and Elly, they love him. We're gonna miss those family dinners there.

Today we're at home with 7 of the kids, plus my cousin's two little ones cause she's ill. It's so great to have them all around. They're all riding bikes outside and enjoying the sun-even though it's cold. lol

Yes, it was a great weekend-and we're hoping summer gets here fast!!!!
